I was delighted to travel to Inverness to attend the CIOB CEO and President Roadshow on the 23 November. Hosted by the Highlands & Islands Hub who kicked off the evening with a fantastic video talking about why they became members and the challenges facing them both locally and in the industry.

It was inspiring to hear CIOB President, Mike Foy, talking about his passion for the industry and the work he, Caroline and the team are doing to face our challenges head on.

Caroline gave an update on the work CIOB are doing on the corporate plan and the support put in place to ensure members are supported throughout renewals if they have been affected by COVID in any way.

I gave a presentation on CIOB Assist and talked about the support we offer and asked members to help us get the message out there. Many of the members have been donating to and supporting us for years, including Mike, and it was great to hear how proud they are of the work we are doing to help our members.
